Signia Pure Charge&Go IX — Freehold, NJ
The Independently Verified Choice — Top 10% of All Hearing Aids Tested
Be Brilliant.

When the Signia MaX launched in August 2026 as Signia's newest flagship, the Pure Charge&Go IX did not become obsolete. It became something more valuable: the most independently verified hearing aid in the current Signia lineup.
HearingTracker places the Signia Pure Charge&Go IX in the top 10% of all prescription hearing aids it has tested. HearAdvisor independent laboratory testing measured its performance at 1.08 points above the category average for speech in noise and 0.69 points above average for speech in quiet — genuine third-party numbers from a laboratory that tests without manufacturer involvement. It has been worn by patients in the real world since October 2023, accumulating the field data and the fitting track record that a device launched 30 days ago simply cannot yet match.
For patients who want Signia's IX platform in its most independently verified form — with a deep real-world track record, strong battery life, and the group conversation technology that defines the Integrated Xperience platform — the Pure Charge&Go IX is the well-validated choice.
RealTime Conversation Enhancement — Five Focus Streams
The defining technology of the Signia IX platform is RealTime Conversation Enhancement — and it is worth understanding precisely why it is different from conventional directional hearing aid processing.
Most hearing aids use beamforming to improve speech in noise. Beamforming focuses the microphone system in a particular direction — typically toward the primary speaker — and reduces sensitivity to competing sounds from other directions. This works reasonably well in simple listening situations where there is one primary speaker and noise from the environment. It struggles in the listening situations patients find most challenging: a round table where multiple people are speaking, a dinner party where conversations shift between speakers, a meeting where different voices contribute from different positions around the room.
RealTime Conversation Enhancement processes up to five focus streams simultaneously. Rather than committing to a single directional focus, the system analyzes multiple beamforming directions at once and identifies the speech signals within each. It tracks each speaker dynamically — following them as they move, turn, or shift their position — and delivers the most relevant speech signals to the wearer's ears without requiring any manual adjustment. Signia's published research reports a 22% improvement in speech understanding in noisy group conversation compared to a competitor with an AI co-processor platform.
For patients whose primary listening challenge is the dinner table, the meeting room, the family gathering, or any environment where multiple people are speaking from different directions — this is the feature that makes the IX platform distinctively effective.
Important note: RealTime Conversation Enhancement runs at full strength at the 7IX technology level. Performance is reduced at the 5IX and 3IX tiers.
Own Voice Processing 2.0 — Natural from the First Day
The most common reason first-time hearing aid users abandon their devices is not the performance in noise — it is how their own voice sounds. Too loud, too hollow, too artificial. Standard amplification has no way to process the wearer's own voice differently from external sounds, which means the acoustic characteristics of self-generated speech arrive through the device in an unnatural way.
Own Voice Processing 2.0 on the IX platform addresses this by dedicating a separate audio stream entirely to the wearer's own voice. OVP 2.0 identifies the acoustic characteristics of self-generated speech — the vibrations originating from the wearer's own larynx — and processes them independently from all external sounds. The result is a natural, comfortable own-voice experience that begins on the first day of wear rather than requiring weeks of adjustment.
For first-time hearing aid users, for patients who have previously tried and returned hearing aids because their voice sounded wrong, and for patients who have been hesitant to try hearing aids for this reason — OVP 2.0 removes the most common early barrier to successful adoption.
The Dual-Stream IX Architecture
Beneath RealTime Conversation Enhancement and OVP runs the Integrated Xperience platform's core architecture — dual-stream AI processing that routes speech and background sound through separate, parallel processing streams simultaneously.
One stream focuses on identifying and enhancing the speech signals of the people around the wearer. The other manages the background environment — its noise floor, its acoustic character, its competing sounds. They run in parallel, each processing its respective signal without compromising the other, and are combined into a single, balanced listening experience.
This is the architectural foundation that RealTime Conversation Enhancement is built on — and the reason it can track multiple focus streams simultaneously without the trade-offs that a single-processor system would require.
Battery Life — 39 Hours Per Charge
The Pure Charge&Go IX delivers up to 39 hours of battery life per charge — among the longest available in any prescription RIC hearing aid on the market. With five hours of streaming per day, runtime is approximately 34 hours.
The practical implication: a patient who charges their Pure Charge&Go IX overnight consistently will essentially never run out of charge during a full waking day, regardless of how long they wear the devices or how much they stream. For patients who have battery anxiety around rechargeable devices — or who have had frustrating experiences with previous rechargeable platforms running out midday — the IX's battery performance largely eliminates that concern.
The portable charging case holds three additional full charges per hearing aid — providing backup power for travel, long trips, or days when overnight charging was missed. The Dry&Clean charger option adds UV cleaning capability, completing a cleaning cycle in 15 minutes while charging — useful for patients with frequent earwax or moisture concerns.
Connectivity — Bluetooth LE Audio and the Signia App
The Pure Charge&Go IX connects to iOS devices via Made for iPhone (MFi) and to Android devices via ASHA — the accessibility standard that enables direct audio streaming from compatible Android smartphones.
Bluetooth LE Audio is supported for compatible devices. Direct streaming of phone calls, music, podcasts, and television audio to both hearing aids is available from compatible devices.
The Signia One App provides full control over volume, programs, and sound settings from a smartphone, and houses the Signia Assistant — an AI-based troubleshooting and sound customization tool that provides 24/7 support between appointments. The Signia Assistant allows patients to describe a sound problem in natural language and receive an AI-guided adjustment recommendation — a meaningful support tool for patients who want to fine-tune their experience independently.
Technology Levels — 7IX, 5IX, and 3IX
7IX — Premium. Full RealTime Conversation Enhancement at maximum processing depth with all five focus streams. The complete IX feature set at the highest channel count and fine-tuning resolution. For patients in demanding multi-speaker environments who want the strongest available RTCE performance.
5IX — Advanced. Strong IX platform processing for patients with varied listening demands and regular social activity in moderately challenging environments.
3IX — Standard. Core IX platform processing for patients whose listening challenges are primarily in everyday, less demanding environments. Most accessible price point in the Pure Charge&Go IX range.
Note: RealTime Conversation Enhancement performance varies across tiers. If RTCE is the primary reason for choosing the IX, the 7IX tier is the appropriate selection.
IX vs. MaX — Which Is Right for You?
Both platforms are available at Haynie Audiology. Patients choosing between them deserve a direct comparison.
Pure Charge&Go IX — Independently verified, top 10% of all hearing aids tested, field-validated since October 2023. Five RTCE focus streams, OVP 2.0, up to 39-hour battery, Bluetooth LE Audio. The proven choice with the deepest real-world track record in the current Signia lineup.
Pure Charge&Go MaX — Launched August 2026, four dedicated DNNs (Acoustic Intelligence), 54x the processing power of IX, OneConnect with Bluetooth Classic + LE Audio + Telecoil + Auracast hardware (full Auracast via March 2027 firmware update). No independent laboratory testing yet. Compelling architecture, pending third-party verification.
For patients who prioritize independently verified performance: the IX is the established choice. For patients who want the newest platform with the most advanced AI architecture: the MaX is the current choice. For patients who need a form factor other than a rechargeable RIC — custom, slim, CIC, or BTE — the IX platform is currently the only Signia option, as the MaX launches in the Pure Charge&Go RIC only.
Is the Pure Charge&Go IX Right for You?
The Pure Charge&Go IX is most suited for adults with mild to severe hearing loss who want independently verified performance — specifically top 10% ranking for group conversation in noise — alongside strong battery life, natural own-voice experience, and a field-validated platform with three years of real-world data. Patients who frequently attend group dinners, meetings, social events, or any environment where multiple people are speaking simultaneously. Patients who want a proven Signia device while the MaX accumulates independent testing. First-time hearing aid users for whom own-voice naturalness from day one is a priority.
The Pure Charge&Go IX is not the right choice for patients who want the newest and most architecturally advanced Signia platform — the MaX is the current flagship. Patients who need Bluetooth Classic universal connectivity in their RIC device — the MaX's OneConnect provides this. Patients who need a custom ITE, slim, or CIC form factor — the Silk Charge&Go IX and Styletto IX serve those needs on the same IX platform.
